Mary is a member of South End Woven, a collective of weavers in the SOWA Arts and Design District in Boston. Color, in combination with weave structure is one of the main design themes running through all of her designs. Through the process of warp painting, she is able to indulge her need for color and the desire to produce one of a kind woven pieces. Gretchen Romey-Tanzer is the owner of the Tanzer Weaving Studio and Gallery, #2623 Main Street, Brewster, MA 02631. The weaving studio is a place for new and experienced weavers to work on and expand their skills and knowledge of handwaving. We have a number of 4 to 8 shaft looms for weavers to work on. Gretchen provides direction and encouragement. The Weaving Studio and Gallery also has handwoven wall pieces and house wares for sale. Come for a visit!

WovenSeas Weaving Studio, located in the The Handkerchief Factory, Main Street Warren, RI, is a hand weaving makers studio, a classroom and a shop. We offer individualized and small group weaving classes, monthly loom rentals, design and color help, and our Make Take Towel Class; great for ladies night out.
