Registration for Wednesday meetings will close on the prior Sunday to allow us to plan ahead and send out the necessary invitations to join the Zoom meeting.  

September 13 Meeting 

The general meeting will be followed by a brief lunch break.  Then our live Afternoon Speaker will be Scott Norris, speaking about Storytelling and Woven Inlay.  He  will be available for questions.

October 11 Meeting 

The general meeting will be followed by a brief lunch break.  Then our live Afternoon Speaker will be Justin Squizzero, speaking about Any Flower Drawn: Restoring a 19th Century Linen Damask Jacquard.  He will be available for questions.

November 9 Meeting 

The general meeting will be followed by a brief lunch break.  Then our Afternoon Speaker will be Gay McGeary, speaking about A Master Class in American Handwoven Coverlets via live Zoom.  She  will be available for questions.

February 14 Meeting (Zoom 0nly)

A Virtual Tour: The National Museum of the American Coverlet  and

A Textile Travelogue:  Members’ Experiences

First we will view a tour of the museum, then members will share pictures of a textile piece and talk about it as a possible inspiration to their weaving practice, the history behind the piece, or as a moment of sheer wonderment.

March 13 Meeting 

The general meeting will be followed by a brief lunch break.  Then our Afternoon Speaker will be Pat Donald, speaking about Counterpanes: The Other Coverlet.

April 10 Meeting 

The general meeting will be followed by a brief lunch break.  Then our Afternoon Speaker will be Francine Jacobson, speaking about Mathematical Coding as Patterns for Woven Designs.

May 8 Meeting 

The May Meeting is an annual celebration of the Guild's programs and members.   The schedule includes the Annual Business Meeting, Ratings Exhibit and presentations, Awards, the Guild Challenge presentation, and a light-hearted Fashion Show.   There are no morning workshops or afternoon speaker.
